A Weekend With Toro: Opening for Diddy-Dirty Money

Man, what an experience it was at the Diddy-Dirty Money concert this past Friday! I had the honor to be able to open up his show! When I tell you I was starstruck, I ain’t lying! Not only did I get to hang out with other amazing DJ’s, I got to hang out with the likes of hip hop icons Q-Tip of Tribe Called Quest, Black Rob, Faith Evans and Lil Cease… just to name a few!

As for the show…

Tyga from Young Money came out first. He defintiely set the tone for a great night. Then Lloyd came out… and he came out swinging! He brought out [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ashanti[/lastfm] and then to top that off he brought out [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ja Rule[/lastfm]! The place went BANANAS!

Now it’s [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Diddy-Dirty Money[/lastfm] time!

The way the stage was set up for his show, I just couldn’t believe it! I have never seen something like this before! Huge screens that move, a live orchestra – AMAZING! He started off with tracks from his Last Train To Paris album. THEN he brought it back! He performed some throwback tracks that had the place ready to explode!
